At Apex Learning, this website offers multiple topic semester courses, online prep test courses and various state required tests.

Homeschooled high school students, students needing extra credits or extra practice have access to 24-hour standard based curriculum in fine arts, math, science, English, social studies and world languages. Students also have online prep courses for AP and state required tests.

For example, Math Foundations I is a review of 3rd-5th grade math for incoming middle schoolers. Math Foundation II is developed for middle school students to maintain their math proficiency before they enter high school.

Classes consist of written material, with voice over reading, animated videos, graded and non-graded activities and testing for all subject matter (including reading and writing).  Each class begins on a specific schedule with guiding teachers.

All subjects are taught for middle to high school students.  Lessons are broken down into manageable, interesting material. Individual students, home schooling programs to school districts use this program to either support or teach subject matter.  Some courses offer Spanish interpretation, plus all classes are aligned to individual state and national standards.  Priced at $350.00/course/semester, Apex provides multiple pathways for students to achieve academic success.

Apex Learning also offers summer school courses. Last summer, my 7th grade son took Algebra I for incoming middle school students. He could work at his own pace, complete tests, yet he had to wait a few days for the teacher to grade the material. The class material was well organized and comprehensive. This material was a good program to take to keep his skills up during the summer months.
