EARLY LEARNERS AND SPECIAL NEEDS EDUCATION SOFTWARE

Teachers understand students do not learn on the same level, nor are they interested in the same material. This game provides early learning material with fun filled activities. For parents and teachers, EdMark is a good resource to find educational software games that give early learning and special needs students extra learning tools.

The EdMark House Series offers several software programs – Bailey’s Book House, Millie’s Math House, Sammy’s Science House, and Trudy’s Time and Place House.  EdMark is part of  Riverdeep, which was acquired by Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Learning Technology.

This series provides parents and teachers extra creative outlets to improve student reading, writing and learning skills. I looked at Millie’s Math House demo a few years back, and reviewed this program again. It still offers strong math activities to engage young students, plus providing parents and teachers reporting and management tools. Now, EdMark packages the series to cover math, reading, science and time placement.
